Meet Our Audiologist

James F. Stephens, MA, CCC-A, owner and operator of The Hearing Center, Inc, is a clinical audiologist with over 45 years of experience. Jim holds an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York and a graduate degree in Audiology from Ohio University. He has presented talks on hearing loss at the National Down Syndrome Congress, served on the North Carolina Hearing aid Fitters Board, and has served as a consultant to the industry on noise issues. Jim is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, The American Academy of Audiology, and the North Carolina Academy of Hearing Rehabilitation.

Located in Fayetteville, NC, The Hearing Center, Inc, we work with patients of all ages looking to improve their hearing. We are proud to offer free hearing screenings as well as complimentary hearing aid trials, so our patients can find the options that work best for them.

Jim works with patients with special needs who need hearing services. He also provides hearing evaluations and VA office referrals to help veterans qualify for Veterans Affairs audiology care.
